Welcome to the Northwest Mississippi Baptist Student Union
The Northwest Baptist Student Union exists to help students KNOW JESUS AND MAKE HIM KNOWN on our campus and beyond. We are a community of students who are passionate about growing in our faith, building real relationships with one another, and living our lives with purpose. As it says in 1 Peter 2:9, “you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood… that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” That’s at the heart of who we are, students who
are learning to know Jesus personally and boldly make Him known to others. Through
weekly gatherings, Bible studies, worship, and serving opportunities, we strive
to create a place where everyone feels welcome and encouraged. Whether you’re
just starting to ask questions about faith or you’ve been walking with Christ
for years, there’s a place for you here. At the BSU, we believe college is more
than just earning a degree; it’s a time to grow spiritually, find your calling,
and make an eternal impact. Come as you are and be part of what God is doing at
the Northwest Baptist Student Union.

Life at the BSU
Life at BSU is more than just a weekly gathering; it’s about doing life together. It’s late-night conversations, shared meals, worship that’s real, and friendships that actually last.
Throughout the week, you’ll find students hanging out, studying, serving, and growing in their faith together. From small groups and campus events to mission opportunities and spontaneous moments, BSU is a place where community happens naturally.
It’s not about being perfect, the good Lord knows we are not, or having it all figured out, again, we do not; it’s about showing up, being known, and growing alongside others who are chasing after Jesus.
